This is from a nine-part series of comedic sketches for PUMPHOUSE. Each one presents one of their nine “house rules” in a light-hearted way. This was another last-minute project with practically no plan at all. I was flying to Spain the next day and we needed to put something together. A lot of it was improvised, but one thing that I was very eager to ensure was that none of the sketches came across as condescending – the last thing you want, as an adult, is to be talked down to, like a child. This was achieved through exaggerated scenarios enacted by an over-the-top character, and the owners being overly lenient.

This is part one, where the harassement begins. I came up with the idea the night before, but the end-product required some additions from other parts to boost its comedic value.
