PUMPHOUSE - 2025
COMEDIC SKETCH
ZERO BUDGET | NO ACTORS | NO PLANNING
This is from a nine-part series of comedic sketches for PUMPHOUSE. Each one presents one of their nine “house rules” in a light-hearted way. This was another last-minute project with practically no plan at all. I was flying to Spain the next day and we needed to put something together. A lot of it was improvised, but one thing that I was very eager to ensure was that none of the sketches came across as condescending – the last thing you want, as an adult, is to be talked down to, like a child. This was achieved through exaggerated scenarios enacted by an over-the-top character, and the owners being overly lenient.
This is part four, which addresses common courtesy when using equipment. This one actually uses the original idea, with not too much changed.
