This is a sequence from a workout featuring a Norwegian comedian, Ahmed Mamow, and one of the owners of the gym, Marius. For sure one of my favorites in this category, although not prominently featured since its comedic value requires an understanding of Norwegian to appreciate! This one is both passive and comedic – though comedic content is generally what I consider passive.

In this series, I played an active role in asking questions and trying to procure funny moments, from behind the camera. I did a massive amount of editing to the sequences, to kind of falsify reactions. Throughout the series, I made it seem like Marius was extremely irritated by what Ahmed was saying and doing, despite him actually being quite jolly and smiley the whole time. The series ended up doing very well in gaining meaningful results.
