Another project for PUMPHOUSE that I did on my own time, this time featuring two of my good friends. This sketch was simply a proof of concept for comedic sketches like these, which my portfolio didn’t have many of at the time. The shoot did not go quite as planned, and so I resorted to increasing its comedic value through smart editing.

I love the result, although there are areas that could be improved, particularly in its algorithm-appeal. I have great confidence in my ability to produce comedic content, but am also fully aware that there is plenty of room for improvement when it comes to engagement. I’ve had a lot of success with personal projects that don’t require a filter, but content for brands that obviously need to consider their image, is trickier. Not to mention directing non-actors!

This project led to me producing a series of comedic sketches for them, later that year.
