This is from a nine-part series of comedic sketches for PUMPHOUSE. Each one presents one of their nine “house rules” in a light-hearted way. This was another last-minute project with practically no plan at all. I was flying to Spain the next day and we needed to put something together. A lot of it was improvised, but one thing that I was very eager to ensure was that none of the sketches came across as condescending – the last thing you want, as an adult, is to be talked down to, like a child. This was achieved through exaggerated scenarios enacted by an over-the-top character, and the owners being overly lenient.

This is part nine, the finale, where the owners finally get enough and kidnap the troublemaker. The idea for this one was put together at the very end of the shoot, and did require a bit of creativity in post to ensure its comedic value.
